exceltrain, inc. is an independent training company that provides training services in sales, sales management, management in general, leadership, product and IT processes. The company also specializes in executive coaching for senior level executives in a wide variety of industries.

 


Company Founder's Experience

TODD L. WILLARD - PRESIDENT (PRINCIPLE)


exceltrain, inc. was founded in 1998 by Todd L. Willard - the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Willard brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and operational expertise that encompasses a wide array of industries. A banker by trade, Mr. Willard brings a wealth of knowledge in the financial services and electronic financial services sectors including retail banking expertise. Mr. Willard served as President and Executive Director for a start up electronic funds transfer company in the mid-1980ís and has worked in senior level sales and marketing roles for both start-up telecommunication companies and well known entities including Automatic Data Processing, Inc. and most recently with MCI, Inc (now called Verizon Business). In his role with MCI, Mr. Willard has served in Director of Sales capacities and in senior management roles involving marketing and sales training. He has had significant roles in the implementation of the singular largest sales force automation roll-out in corporate history at that time for MCI Telecommunications. In addition, Mr. Willard had the responsibility for the integration of the most significant sales process training initiative ever implemented for the National and Global sales channels at MCI Telecommunications, a $22 billion company prior to the acquisition of MCI Telecommunications by WorldCom.  Mr. Willard's overall business expertise that includes senior level management, sales, marketing, security and technology is highly sought after.  In addition to being considered one of the best training communicators in the industry, he also is highly coveted today for his executive level coaching ability.  

 

DOTTIE J. WILLARD - EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT (PRINCIPLE)

Dottie J. Willard has more than thirty years experience in training, customer service, financial services and accounting arenas. Her areas of training expertise include telecommunications, hospitality, financial services and non-profit organizations.

She has taught leadership, management skills, customer service, sales, marketing, product, conflict resolution, personality styles (DiSC) and English as a second language. Dottie is also skilled in executive, sales and customer service coaching.

She brings high energy, excitement and engagement to each of her training assignments, and is considered a premier communicator and facilitator.
